Cockerel Butterfly Center
Open every day at the Houston Museum of Natural Science is the Cockrell Butterfly center. Consisting of the Brown Hall of Entomology as well as the breathtaking Rainforest Conservatory this is a stop for anyone who wants a great educational experience or for those who simply want to see some of nature’s more pleasing insects in an artificial rainforest!
Houston Food Fest
June fifteenth only in Midtown park is the Houston Food Fest! Over seventy different food vendors from Houston, Austin, and other surrounding area are coming together to host a festival consisting of fun, music, and of course food! Be sure to check out this food fest for a day of everything from BBQ to tacos to gumbo and ice cream!
