For this month only the Houston Museum of Fine Arts has over fifty works by Van Gogh! This exhibition is filled with photo-ops and other activities making it an exciting and one of a kind experience for the whole family to enjoy! There are audio tours available and the nearby Liberty Kitchen is offering a Van Gogh inspired meal to top off your visit.
Destination Moon: Houston Natural Science Museum
2019 is the fiftieth anniversary of the moon landing and as we all know that is a big deal for Houston, as the city that was instrumental in that happening! Museums all over town are celebrating, this week you can go to the Houston Museum of Natural Science and see a perfect replica of the moon in Destination: Moon at the Alfred C. Glassell Jr. Hall!
Jurassic Adventure
On June 8th and 9th at the George R. Brown Convention center there is a terrifically Triassic experience at My Jurassic Adventure! There are over fifty dinosaur models on display, fossil digs and bouncy castles for the children as well as dozens of other activities for the whole family to enjoy! With everything from VR dinosaurs to state-of-the-art animatronics this dinosaur exhibit is truly a Jurassic Adventure!
Sonic Playground
This week at the Sarofim Picnic lawn you can go check out Yuri Suzuki’s Sonic Playground. It’s a collection of objects and pieces that let you experience and delight in many of the unique ways that sound can travel! Situated at Discovery Green you are sure find fun for the whole family!
Baldwin Park
The Elizabeth Baldwin Park is a delightful four and a half acre park in midtown with a space for whatever you need to do to unwind in the bustling city! This nature center is ideal for anyone who wants to explore some of the beautiful nature that the gulf cost has to offer. Chicago

Cynthia Woods Mitchell evening with Frank and Ella
This Saturday at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion there is a spectacular performance by the Houston symphony. They are bringing together the styles of the Queen of Jazz, Ella Fitzgerald, and Frank Sinatra in their one night only performance!
The Showboat Drive-In
Just outside of Houston there is the famous Showboat Drive-In movie theater! They are open every day of the week all summer and every night they offer two feature films for the price of one!
